Within the framework of the Article above, the Organization shall have the following principal objects:

Education and Youth Development

(a) To encourage and support innovative approaches to existing social and educational structures for better impact on the welfare and development of children, adolescents and youth;

(b) To encourage and support youth initiatives that foster the culture of volunteerism, social responsibility, creativity and self-actualization;

(c) To provide education bursaries to needy students particularly from vulnerable groups, disadvantaged families and marginalized communities;

(d) To encourage and expand information and communication technology programmes in rural based institutions;

Sports as a means of empowerment

(e) To encourage sports among all age groups as a means of promoting healthy living and economic empowerment;

(f) To establish sports teams, carry out training programmes and participate in competitions;

(g) To set up sports training facilities;


(h) To expand access to affordable quality health care for underserved individuals and communities and promote awareness on affordable healthy living;

(i) To source and equip rural health facilities with equipment, drugs and expertise;

(j) To educate and sensitize rural communities on endemic diseases including HIV and AIDS, malaria, tuberculosis, cancer, asthma and diabetes and provide support for the affected.

Food and Water

(k) To encourage and support modern food production and storage technologies among the rural populations;

(l) To encourage and support food distribution and school feeding programmes, particularly for drought/famine affected communities;

(m) To encourage and support community based initiatives to improve access to clean water.

Economic Empowerment

(n) To fund initiatives for job training and job creation for sustainable economic empowerment.

(o) To encourage, fund and support community based environment friendly projects that generate income and create jobs for the local population.


(p) To publish newsletters, brochures, periodicals, books and other publications as the Board of the Organization may deem desirable for the promotion of the objects of the Organization;

(q) To collaborate with educational, charitable, business, and government organizations worldwide to develop, fund and lor implement the organization's objectives.

(r) To enter into any arrangement with any governments or authorities that may be conducive to the Organization's objects or any of them, and to obtain from such government or authority any rights, privileges and concessions which the Organization may think desirable to obtain;

(s) To raise, mobilize and disburse funds and other resources for the promotion of the objects of the Organization;

(t) To employ advisors, experts and other staff for all or any of the objects of the Organization;

(u) To acquire any moveable or immovable property and any buildings or things whatsoever and sell, dispose of, mortgage, lease or otherwise deal with any part of the property or rights of the Organization;

(v) To take such steps by personal or written appeals, public meetings or otherwise as may from time to time be deemed expedient for the purpose of procuring contributions to the funds of the Organization in the form of donations, annual subscription or otherwise;

(w) To apply to any governments or authority, public bodies, corporations, companies or persons for and to accept grants or gifts of money and of any moveable or immovable property, donations, gifts, subscriptions and other assistance with a view to promoting the objects of the organization and, in taking of any gift or property to take the same subject to any special trust which may be prescribed by the donor thereof;

(x) To establish an endowment fund to receive grants, donations, gifts and other assistance in any form whatsoever from Kenya or from any other source for any one or more of the objects of the Organization and to establish non-profit-making foundations in any country or countries for the purpose of receiving donations from private and corporate persons and for channeling the same to the Organization’s operations and programmes.

(y) To promote or assist in the promotion of any organization or company or other body having objects similar to those of the Organization;

(z) To draw, execute or otherwise deal with negotiable or transferable instruments;

aa) To do all such other things as are incidental or conducive to the attainment of any of the above objects;

(aa) To invest the money in the organization not immediately required in any one or more of the modes of investment of trust moneys under the applicable laws and regulations.
